How do I edit and publish an updated call flow in MyOperator?

How do I edit and publish an updated call flow in MyOperator?

Quick Answer

Edit your existing or draft call flow in Call Design > Callflow, click Save to Preview, then Publish Confirm, and ensure the flow wears the Primary badge so every incoming call immediately follows the new routing.

1. System limits and routing behaviour

Your MyOperator account can hold a maximum of 10 Active Call Flows and 10 Drafts at any one time. Regardless of how many flows exist, every service number delivers calls only to the call flow that carries the Primary badge. Unsaved drafts do not influence live routing.

2. Step-by-step: edit and publish a primary flow

  1. Log in as an Admin or Owner at https://in.app.myoperator.com.
  2. Open Call Design > Callflow from the left-hand navigation panel.
  3. Locate the flow displayed under Active Call Flows with the Primary badge.
  4. Click the three-dot Edit icon (⋮) and choose View and Edit.
  5. Make your changes—for example, replace audio prompts, reassign users, or remove menu options by clicking the “×” icon.
  6. Scroll to the bottom and click Save to Preview. A preview of the revised flow loads.
  7. Click Publish Confirm to push the update live.

After these steps the new flow governs all incoming calls instantly, as long as it retains the Primary badge.

3. Switching primary flows and scheduling holidays

  1. If you keep several active flows, you can redirect traffic in real time. Click the Edit icon (⋮) beside the desired flow, select Set as Primary, and calls immediately move to that flow.
  2. For holiday or temporary IVRs, create the design under Drafts. Because automated date-based scheduling is not yet available, an Admin must manually publish the holiday draft and set it as Primary at the start of the break, then revert to the regular flow when business hours resume.

4. Troubleshoot if changes are not live

Wait up to five minutes. If calls still follow the old route, contact Support at support@myoperator.com or 08129-81029.

Provide all of the following so the team can investigate swiftly:

  • Your Business Account Number (BAN) or any Service Number.
  • The name or ID of the call flow you just published.
  • Exact details of what you edited (for example, “updated IVR welcome greeting” or “removed Sales menu option 2”).
  • Four to five Call UIDs generated from test calls you placed after publishing.

While you wait, you can also try a backend cache refresh yourself: go to Call Design > Callflow > Advanced Settings > Route Settings and click Switch Route. This forces the platform to reload the newest routing instructions.

5. What Support, Account Managers and Tech teams do

  • Support verification & guided troubleshooting: The agent confirms your BAN or Service Number, checks that the edited flow holds the Primary badge, reviews whether Publish Confirm was clicked, listens to text-to-speech prompts, and walks you through Switch Route if needed. They also explain that non-Primary active flows will never receive live traffic.
  • Account Manager hand-off for custom needs: If you request professional voice-over, custom script writing, additional virtual numbers, or chatbot integration, the Support agent tags the assigned Account Manager. The AM will call you to discuss pricing, deployment steps, and any new number allocations.
  • Escalation to Internal Tech Support: Support or the AM creates a ticket for the Internal Tech Support Team at tech.support@myoperator.co. The ticket must include your BAN, Service Number, Call Flow ID, screenshots of pre-checks, and the same 4–5 recent Call UIDs you supplied.
