Quick Answer
Campaign Failure Notifications let you set up instant email alerts so the right people know the moment a campaign completely fails and can act before ROI is hurt.
1. Why this feature matters
Earlier, teams had to refresh the campaign dashboard to discover problems such as low balance, invalid templates, server issues or balance-deduction errors. That manual monitoring delayed fixes and reduced overall ROI. Automatic email alerts remove that blind spot.
- Immediate corrective action instead of periodic checks
- Less operational delay and faster issue resolution
- Shared visibility for all authorised users
- Lower risk of missed revenue from failed campaigns
2. What’s new
- Instant email alerts whenever a campaign fails
- Recipient management directly at Settings → Campaign Failure Notifications
- Unlimited stakeholders can be added as recipients
- Automatic removal of deleted users from the list
- Better redirection handling when an email comes from an account-mismatch scenario
3. How it works
- You add one or more email addresses in Settings → Campaign Failure Notifications.
- When a campaign’s status changes to Failed, MyOperator sends an email to every configured recipient immediately.
- The email contains the campaign name, exact failure reason and a call-to-action button that opens the campaign details page so the issue can be fixed or the campaign retried.
4. Important behaviour rules
- If you leave the recipient list empty, no notifications are sent.
- If a listed user is later removed from the organisation, the system deletes that address from the recipient list automatically—no manual clean-up required.
5. Access control
| Role | Access |
|---|
| Owner | Full access (default) |
| Admin | Access only if enabled by Owner |
| Manager | Access only if enabled by Owner |
| Agent | No access |
6. Real-world examples
Scenario 1: Low balance
Campaign: Festive Offer Campaign
Failure reason: Low Balance
- Recipients instantly receive the alert.
- Team recharges the account and retries the campaign within minutes.
- Potential revenue loss is avoided.
Scenario 2: Invalid template
Campaign: Utility Reminder Campaign
Failure reason: Template Inactive/Rejected
- Stakeholders know right away and replace or reactivate the template.
- Customer communication resumes without waiting for a manual audit.
7. Business impact
Automatic alerts keep campaign failures from slipping through the cracks, shorten response times, improve operational visibility and safeguard campaign ROI.
