How many minutes will be assigned to a Demo Account by default?

Demo accounts include free incoming call minutes to test MyOperator. The amount depends on your location.

Availability and minute allocations may change. Minutes are for incoming voice; other features may have limits.

Note: Some new accounts may temporarily show 100 minutes while location-based provisioning completes.

Where to view your demo minutes

  1. Sign in to the dashboard.
  2. Go to Billing → Usage Summary/billing/usage.
  3. Check Incoming Minutes under your Demo plan.

You’re set when you can see your current balance and date range in Usage Summary.


What counts toward demo minutes

  • Inbound calls that connect to your demo number (IVR, queue, or agent).
  • Forwarded calls to agent phones count as inbound usage from your pool.
  • Call recording (if enabled) does not change the minute rate, but the connected duration still consumes minutes.
  • Missed/ring-no-answer calls typically consume negligible or zero minutes unless connected.
Outbound calling may not be included in demo by default. Check your plan details.

Edge cases & limitations

  • Region rules: Some regions require KYC or address proof before enabling calls.
  • Multiple numbers: The included minutes are account-level and shared across demo numbers.
  • Expiry: Unused demo minutes expire when the demo ends or you upgrade.
  • Toll-free & international inbound: Availability varies by country and may have different demo limits.
  • Fair use: Anti-spam controls apply to automated or very high-frequency testing.

Examples

  • You place 6 inbound test calls averaging 2 minutes each → ~12 minutes consumed.
  • You forward three 3-minute calls to agent mobiles → ~9 minutes consumed from the same pool.
  • A call rings for 20 seconds and is not answered~0 minutes consumed.

Troubleshooting

  • My balance didn’t change after a call
    Refresh the Usage Summary date range and verify the call connected.
  • I need more demo minutes
    Email Support with the template below, or upgrade for higher limits.
