⚡Quick answer -
To block a number, open Call Logs → locate the call → click Block Caller → give a short reason → Block & Close.
The number is added to the Blocklist, and future calls will be rejected before they reach your IVR or agents.
Unblock the same way or from Call → Blocklist.
When should I use this guide?
Use it to stop spam, repeated misdials, or unwanted contacts from reaching your phone menu or queues.

Alt text: Sidebar → Call → Blocklist.
- Click Add New → enter Number, Name, Reason → Save.
- To unblock, click Unblock next to the number.
5. Success checklist
✓ Blocked number appears in Blocklist with timestamp & reason.
✓ Test call from that number fails to reach IVR / agents.
✓ Call Logs show the attempt as Missed – Blocked (label may vary).
6. Edge cases & limits
• Numbers using different caller IDs (CLI spoofing) must each be blocked.
• Private / withheld IDs cannot be blocked individually—use IVR rules (e.g., require DTMF input).
• Blocklist is limited to 10,000 entries per workspace; older entries can be exported & cleared if needed.
7. When blocking fails
- Number saved without country code—block the exact format shown in Logs.
- The call is forwarded from another PBX before MyOperator sees the caller ID.
- You lack Edit permission (button greyed).
8. Troubleshooting & escalation
Issue | Quick fix |
Blocked number still connects | Verify format; block alternate CLIs |
Cannot find the Block Caller button | Ensure role = Admin; refresh page |
Need audit trail | Export Blocklist CSV (Blocklist → Export) |
