⚡Quick answer -
Use the Block List on your MyOperator web dashboard. Click Add Number → enter the phone number, caller name, and reason → Save. The number is blocked instantly across all connected phone lines.
Follow these steps whenever you need to stop nuisance or fraudulent callers from reaching any of your MyOperator virtual numbers. It also covers exporting, searching, and unblocking numbers.
The Block List is a central dashboard page that lets you:
Action | Where to click | Result |
Add number | Add number (top-right) | Instantly blocks the entered phone number |
Export list | Export (top-right) | Downloads a CSV of all blocked numbers |
Search | Filter icon beside each column | Find entries by number, name, date, or reason |
Unblock single | ︙ menu in row → Unblock | Removes that number from the Block List |
Unblock bulk | Select multiple rows → Unblock (appears top) | Removes all selected numbers |
• Admin or Supervisor role in MyOperator
• Web dashboard access (desktop browser recommended)
Expected result: The number appears at the top of the Block List with the status “Blocked”.
Alt text: Blocking a single number
Flip-side note: You cannot export individual or filtered subsets—exports are always full-list.
• Use the mini-search box beside any column header (Number, Name, Date, Reason).
• Enter a keyword and press Enter—the table filters immediately.
Tip: Clear the field to return to the full list.
Alt text: Search within the block list
Alt text: Unblocking single number and bulk unblock
• Calls routed before the block was added will still complete
.• If the caller uses a different phone number, the original block has no effect.
• Blocking a number does not retroactively delete its call or SMS history.
Issue: I can’t find the Add number button.
• Check that you have Admin or Supervisor privileges.
Escalate: If a blocked number still rings your lines, email support@myoperator.com with the call log attached.
