Quick Answer
If you hear voice breakup, echo, low volume or cutting audio during a MyOperator call, first run local network and device checks, then perform a Route Switch in Call Design > Callflow > Advanced Settings > Route Settings; if problems remain, gather call details and contact support@myoperator.com or your Account Manager for escalation.
1. Causes of poor voice quality
The most common causes are local network instability, incorrect handset or browser configuration and temporary congestion on the telecom carrier path. Symptoms include patchy or broken voice, echo, low volume, one-way audio and mid-call muting.
2. Self-service troubleshooting steps
- Identify the audio symptom and the calling channel you are using.
- If you are on the Mobile App (MyOperator Dialer), ensure strong cellular signal, a stable data connection and, on dual-SIM phones, set the registered panel number as the default SIM for outgoing calls.
- If you are on WebCall through a browser, confirm that the internet connection delivers at least 10 Mbps and that the browser has microphone permissions enabled.
- To refresh Click2Call settings, open the panel, go to Manage Outgoing Click2Call, switch the toggle off, then on again.
Email support@myoperator.com or reach out to your Account Manager when any of the following persist after you have completed the steps above:
- Voice breakup, echo or muting continues.
- Multiple team members in one or more locations or on specific mobile carriers are affected.
- Calls experience consistent one-way audio or severe volume degradation.
Provide these details to speed investigation:
- Business Account Number (BAN) or Service / IVR Number.
- Whether the problem occurs on the Mobile/Dialer App or WebCall.
- Exact symptom: patchy voice, cutting in and out, low volume, echo, one-way audio or muting.
- Approximate date and time plus 4–5 recent Call UIDs.
- Scope of impact, user names, screenshots, screen or audio recordings and any error messages.
4. Support and Account Manager workflow
- The Support Team or Account Manager verifies the BAN or Service Number and confirms whether the issue is on WebCall or the Mobile App.
- They walk you through device and network pre-checks and help trigger a Route Switch in Call Design > Callflow > Advanced Settings > Route Settings.
- A live test call is made to capture fresh timestamps and to listen for improvements.
- For Mobile / Dialer App calls, they confirm network stability, proper cellular coverage, correct SIM selection on dual-SIM devices, audit Click2Call configuration and re-enable it if needed before a second live test call.
- For WebCall, they check the Wi-Fi or LAN connection, browser microphone permissions and whether the problem is limited to one device or browser before another live test call.
5. Escalation to Tech Support
If issues remain after the Route Switch or if a carrier-level degradation is suspected, Support or the Account Manager escalates the case to the Internal Tech Support Team or Telecom Resource Team.
Escalation criteria:
- Patchy voice quality persists across multiple calls even after the Route Switch.
- Widespread carrier trunk problems are observed.
The escalation package includes a Tech Support ticket with the client's BAN, Service Number, a description of the problem (for example, echo, muting or one-way audio) and 4–5 recent Call UIDs. For multi-user or carrier-wide issues, a Telecom Operator Location (TOL) request is emailed to telco.resource@myoperator.co to initiate a carrier route change. Standard turnaround time is 2–4 hours for Virtual Numbers and 24 hours for Toll-Free Numbers.
