Terms of Port OUT process

  • Port out is a method of transferring ownership (providing NOC) from MyOperator to customer. This process is eventually carried out by respective telecom providers and MyOperator works only as facilitator in the process and hence take no liability of the process.
  • During the period when number is with MyOperator, no SIM card can be allocated to the customer.
  • For port-out request, MyOperator will only provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the customer and customer can transfer the ownership of number from MyOperator to their business using the same NOC.
  • For port-out request, MyOperator service on the number should be discontinued. Even if the customer is asking NOC during service tenure, then the liability associated with the number from the date of transfer of ownership will lies with the customer only.
  • If the customer wants to keep MyOperator service up and running while the port-out process, customer must make a minimum payment of INR 5,000 as security deposit which will be used to deduct any additional bill generated during the time. The security deposit can be higher depending on the service usage in last quarter.
  • All the service charges/outstanding till the time of port-out should be cleared prior to port out request.
  • If the number is vanity (paid number) and at the time of service activation provided free of cost or at a discount, then before NOC, the client needs to pay the difference amount.
  • The TAT for NOC in port-out request is 15 days from the date of receipt of request.
  • The validity of NOC is 14 days for tollfree numbers and 4 days for  from the date of generation of NOC.
  • Charges related to NOC for Port Out process.
  • Ownership of a landline virtual number that starts with STD codes such as 9111, 9180, and 9122, etc. can not be transferred.

  • Taxes applicable extra with the mentioned charges.
  • Maximum of two NOC can be provided for a service number within the given 3 months period.
  • No NOC can be provided after the expiry of above 3 months. In this case the numbers will be retained by MyOperator or its group companies for further use.
  • In case the customer is a returning customer, comes after 3 months and requesting for the same number which he was using earlier, then providing the same number is completely depending upon the availability of that number with MyOperator. Further this will be in complete discretion of MyOperator to provide the number or not, even if the number is available.
