What are the types of WhatsApp templates available?
There are three types of templates:
Utility: Transactional Messages Used for sending important transactional updates after a customer action (e.g., purchase or request).
Examples:
Confirming, updating, or canceling orders
Sending account updates, payment reminders
Collecting feedback on orders or experiences
Custom Marketing: Promotional Messages Promote your business and share offers with customers.
Examples:
Informing customers about your products or services
Sending promotional offers during sales
Sharing offers to boost engagement
Authentication: OTP & Login Messages (Not available yet) For sending one-time passwords (OTP) or login codes to verify customer accounts. (Note: Authentication templates will be available once we are live with the MyOperator WhatsApp Business API)
Service Messages: These messages are related to customer support and service updates on customer requests which means whatever questions customer asks and in response to that the answer is given that will be service messages, This can be orders,appointments , tech support or any other support.

Important Note: Service message is when customer raises a concern, but if the first message is utility then service request raised by the client within 24 hours will not be treated as service message. If the customer raises a service request after 24 hours, it will be counted in the service message as it will be initiated by the user
