Quick Answer
Support can locate your MyOperator workspace fastest when you share either your Service Number (IVR / Toll-Free) or your BAN (Business Account Number); if neither is handy, provide the registered mobile number, registered email address, or the exact company name.
1. Overview
Every MyOperator account is uniquely identified by two numeric keys: the Service Number assigned to your IVR or toll-free line and the Business Account Number (BAN) shown inside the dashboard. These numbers remove ambiguity when several customers have similar brand names. Registered contact details are acceptable fallback options but should never replace the two primary identifiers when they are available.
2. Primary Account Identifiers & Where to Find Them
- Service Number (IVR / Toll-Free Number): the virtual or toll-free line mapped to your business. You will see it at the top-left corner of every MyOperator dashboard page, directly beneath your organisation name, and on the header of every official invoice.
- BAN (Business Account Number): the unique workspace ID.
You can locate the BAN in two ways:
- In the dashboard, click the profile (power) icon in the top-right corner, choose Account Usage, then scroll down to view the BAN.
- Open the left navigation menu, go to Billing → Payment, and scroll down; the BAN appears near the bottom of the page.
3. Using Secondary Details When Numbers Are Unavailable
If you cannot retrieve the Service Number or the BAN, share any combination of the following registered details so support can still look you up:
- Registered mobile number
- Registered email address
- Exact company or brand name
Remember that the phone number or email you use to contact support might differ from the details stored on the account; support will therefore confirm the match before disclosing or changing anything.
4. Why the Service Number or BAN Is Preferred
- Several accounts may share similar-sounding brand names.
- Your legal or trade name might have changed after signup.
- A single organisation can own multiple MyOperator workspaces or service numbers.
For these reasons, always supply a Service Number or BAN together with at least one registered contact detail whenever possible.
5. Support and Account Management Workflow
- Provide the Service Number / IVR Number plus the registered mobile or email for instant identification.
- If the Service Number is not known, give the BAN along with any registered contact details.
- Support will locate the workspace in internal systems, confirm the Service Number and BAN back to you, and only then proceed with account-specific assistance or changes.
A company or brand name on its own is never accepted as the sole search key.
- Best combination: Service Number + registered mobile or email
- Second best: BAN + registered mobile or email
- If neither number is available: all other registered details you can provide
