At any point, if I need to discontinue MyOperator services, shall I get my number back?

⚡Quick answer -

Yes. You are entitled to reclaim your number when you discontinue MyOperator services.

MyOperator will issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC), which allows you to transfer ownership of the number from MyOperator back to your business or to another telecom operator, as per the official port-in/port-out policy.

How the Port-Out Process Works

  1. Submit discontinuation request
    • Notify MyOperator that you wish to discontinue services (temporarily or permanently).
  2. NOC issuance (within 45 days)
    • MyOperator provides an NOC enabling you to port your number elsewhere.
    • All outstanding charges must be cleared beforethe NOC is issued.
  3. Validity of NOC
    • Mobile numbers → 4 days
    • Toll-free numbers → 14 days
  4. Keep service active while porting (optional)
    • Pay a minimum refundable security deposit (e.g., ₹5,000 based on last quarter’s usage) if you want MyOperator services to remain active during the porting window.
  5. Transfer ownership
    • Use the NOC to initiate port-out with your chosen telecom provider.
