The number of SMS messages you can send in a month using MyOperator depends on your SMS credit balance and your subscription plan. Here's how it works and how you can check your limits.
🔢 What Determines My SMS Sending Limit?
Your monthly SMS capacity is influenced by:
- Plan Type: Different MyOperator plans include different SMS bundles.
- SMS Credit Top-Ups: You can purchase additional credits at any time.
- Message Type: Promotional and transactional SMS may be billed differently.
- DND Filtering: Messages to DND numbers (for promotional SMS) may not be delivered or counted.
💡 Example: A Business Plan may include 10,000 promotional SMS/month, while an Enterprise Plan may include 50,000, with optional add-ons.
📍 How to Check Your SMS Balance
- Log in to your MyOperator dashboard.
- Click on Manage from the top menu.
- Select SMS from the left panel.
- Click Usage & Balance to view:
- SMS sent this month
- Remaining promotional/transactional credits
- Expiry date of current credits
⚠️ What Happens If I Reach My Limit?
- Message Sending Stops: Once your credit runs out, new SMS campaigns will not send until you top up.
- Alert Banner: A notification appears in your dashboard when you approach your credit threshold.
- Top-Up Options: Go to Billing > Buy Credits to add more SMS units.
