Is there any limit to adding “SMS Templates” ?

Your template allowance depends on your subscription tier: Starter = 10, Growth = 50, Enterprise = Unlimited. You can view real-time usage in Manage → SMS → Templates.

Active = status Approved or Pending. Archived templates don’t count toward the cap.

1 · How to check your current usage

  1. Sign in → Manage → SMS → Templates
  2. Look at the counter top-right: “18 / 50 used”
  3. Click Usage Details for status-wise breakdown (Approved, Pending, Archived)

2 · What happens when you hit the limit

Pop-up: “You’ve used all 50 templates on your Growth plan. Delete or archive an existing template, or upgrade to Enterprise for unlimited templates.”

3 · Ways to stay within quota

  • Archive rarely used templates – keeps history but frees a slot.
  • Clone & Edit – reuse the same slot instead of creating from scratch.
  • Group variables – one template with merge-tags often replaces five static ones.
  • Bulk delete – select ≥ 10 old items → ⋯ → Delete.
