What is the process of booking a Business number?

Reserving a toll-free or virtual mobile number lets customers reach you directly while every call is logged in your MyOperator dashboard.

Prerequisites

  • You have upgraded from a Demo to a paid plan (Dashboard ▸ Complete the setup).
  • You are signed in at https://app.myoperator.com.
  • You’ve added a payment method (required for VIP numbers).

30-Second Cheat-Sheet

  1. Dashboard ▸ Complete the setup ▸ Number selection
  2. Pick a Toll-free or Mobile tab → Reserve Now
  3. See the green banner “Number reserved successfully.” Done!

Step-by-Step Guide

1 · Open the Number-Selection Wizard

  1. From the left menu, choose Numbers ▸ Buy New.
  2. The Number selection panel opens.

Select a tab and click Save & Continue.

3 · Search or Browse

  • Browse the default list, or
  • Click Want to search more? and type a pattern (e.g., “9000”).
Tip: Add multiple options to your Wishlist before deciding.

4 · Reserve and Confirm

  1. Open Wishlist, tick the number, and press Reserve Now.
  2. Review the cost (VIP fee, if any) ➜ Confirm.
  3. A confirmation page appears: “Number reserved successfully.”

5 · Verify Activation

Find the number under Numbers ▸ Manage with status Pending Activation.
Activation completes in ≤ 15 minutes; you’ll get an email once active.

Expected Outcome

  • The chosen number displays Active in Numbers ▸ Manage.
  • Incoming calls to this number now route through your published call flows.
