Will my GSTIN appear on my invoice?

Your GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number) will appear on every invoice generated after you add it to your account. Invoices issued before you add or update your GSTIN cannot be regenerated with the new number.

1. When will my GSTIN show on invoices?

  • Immediately on all invoices generated after you save a valid GSTIN.
  • Never on invoices generated before the GSTIN was saved (retroactive updates are not supported).
  • Propagation time: The number appears on newly generated invoices within 5 minutes; refresh if you do not see it.

3. Add or update your GSTIN

3.1 Web/desktop

  1. Go to Settings → Billing or open https://in.app.myoperator.com/business/business-information.
  2. Under Tax Information, click Edit.
  3. Enter your 15‑digit GSTIN in the GSTIN field.
  4. Click Save.

3.2 Mobile app (iOS & Android)

  1. Tap ☰ Menu → Settings → Billing.
  2. Select Tax Information.
  3. Enter or update your GSTIN and tap Save.

4. Verify GSTIN on a new invoice

  1. Generate or download a recent invoice from Billing → Invoices.
  2. Open the PDF and check the top‑right corner under Tax Details.
    You should see your 15‑digit GSTIN.
