How do I add a contact that’s visible only to me?

When & Why

Use a Private Contact when you want to store personal leads, vendors, or prospects that should not appear in team searches or reports.

Prerequisites

  • Role: Contact Manager (or higher) in the MyOperator web panel
  • Plan: Growth or above
  • Valid login credentials

Web Panel Steps (Desktop)

  1. Log in at https://app.myoperator.com.
  2. In the top bar, click Manage → Contacts → Add Contact.
  3. Enter Name, Phone, and Email.
  4. Open Visibility and choose Only me (Private).
  5. Click Save. A 🔒 lock icon beside the new contact confirms it’s private.
Result: The contact appears in your list with a lock icon; teammates cannot view, edit, or report on it.

Mobile App Steps (Android & iOS)

  1. Open the MyOperator app and sign in.
  2. Tap Contacts.
  3. Fill the form and set Visibility to Only me.
  4. Tap Save.
