How do I change the password of my account?
When to use this guide
Use these steps if you can’t remember your current password and need to sign back in.
Prerequisites
- You know your username (your registered mobile number) or your registered email.
- You have access to that phone or inbox to receive a One-Time Password (OTP).
- Your new password meets the rules shown on the screen (see example below).
Example password rules
- At least 8 characters.
- Includes a letter, a number, and a special character.
- No spaces; avoid using your name or phone number.
Tip: If your organization enforces different rules, the reset page will display them before you submit.
Reset on the web
- Go to:
https://app.example.com/forgot-password - Enter your Username (registered mobile) or Email, then select Send OTP.
- Check your phone or email for the 6-digit OTP (example:
123456). - Didn’t get it? Wait 30 seconds, then select Send OTP by call for a voice OTP to your phone or landline.
- Enter the OTP and your new password, then select Reset password.
- You’ll be redirected to the login page.
Reset in the mobile app
- Open the app and tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen.
- Enter your Username (registered mobile) or Email → tap Send OTP.
- Retrieve the OTP from SMS/voice call or email.
- Enter the OTP and set a new password → tap Reset password.
- You’ll return to the login screen.
What you’ll see when it works
- A confirmation message like “Password updated successfully.”
- You’re redirected to Login.
- Your next sign-in works with the new password.
Troubleshooting
I didn’t receive the OTP
- Confirm your Username/Email is correct.
- Check SMS/email spam and network coverage.
- After 30 seconds, select Send OTP by call for a voice code.
- Try the email option if SMS/call isn’t available in your region.
- Still nothing? See Get more help below.
My OTP expired or was entered wrong
- OTPs are short-lived for security; request a new OTP.
- Enter codes exactly as received; avoid extra spaces.
I’m locked out after too many attempts
- For your security, we temporarily block repeated failures.
- Wait the time shown on screen, then try again or contact support.
I no longer have access to my phone or email
- Contact support to verify your identity and update your recovery info.
Landline number users
- Use Send OTP by call to receive a voice OTP to your landline.
Security & limitations

- OTPs are single-use and time-limited.
- Password resets can’t change your username or registered phone/email. Use the related articles below.
