Step-by-step ordering workflow

  1. Go to Dashboard ➜ Numbers ➜ Buy New.
  2. Choose Country, Number Type, and City; click Search.
  3. Select a number and click Reserve (10-min hold).
  4. Upload the documents listed above
  5. Click Submit. Compliance review averages 30 min (max 24 h).
  6. When status shows “Active,” assign the number to a Call-Flow.

4. Edge cases & limitations

• Emergency calls (911/112/999) are not supported.

• Some countries block outbound CLI until government registry approval.

• Port-in requests require an eligibility check from the service provider, then the last generated invoice from the current provider will be required.

Additional documents may also be asked by the provider.

• Call recording & SMS not available on UAE local numbers.

5. Expected results & how to verify activation

After compliance approval:

• The number appears in Dashboard ➜ Numbers with a green “Active” badge.

• Inbound test: Call from an external carrier; IVR should answer in < 6 rings.

• Outbound test: Dial from MyOperator softphone; recipient should see your new CLI.

If any test fails, see Troubleshooting below.

6. Troubleshooting

Issue: “Unknown/Private” shows on outbound CLI

  • Fix: Complete CLI registration (Dashboard ➜ Numbers ➜ Register CLI) and wait for confirmation email.

Issue: Documents rejected

  • Fix: Upload colour scans, ensure address matches the requested locality, and file size < 5 MB.

Issue: Country not listed

  • Fix: Email  support@myoperator.com with country, city, use-case, and expected call volume. We’ll source numbers via partners within 24 h.
