What is the advantage of a multi-user panel?

A multi-user panel lets every Pro user sign in with a unique email and password (or SSO). With roles and permissions, you can control who sees what, track activity, and give teammates the access they need—no shared logins.

Quick benefits

  • Assign role-based access and granular permissions per user.
  • Monitor user actions via audit logs on the web panel.
  • Each user sees only the data and features allowed by their role.
Note: Data access and available features always depend on the role and permissions assigned.

When and why to use it

Use the multi-user panel when more than one person needs access to your account, you want least-privilege access control, or you must retain audit trails for compliance.

Prerequisites

  • Plan: Pro (or higher) with multi-user support.
  • You’re an Account owner or Admin.
  • Email verified; 2FA recommended.
  • (Optional) SSO configured (SAML/OIDC).

How to set up (Web)

  1. Go to Settings → Users & Roles.
  2. Click Invite user. Enter name and work email.
  3. Choose a Role (e.g., Viewer, Editor, Admin) or select Custom.
  4. (Optional) Set feature permissions (e.g., Billing: view-only; Data export: allowed).
  5. Click Send invite. The user gets an email to set a password or use SSO.
  6. To monitor access, open Settings → Audit log and filter by user, action, or date.

Result: The invitee appears as Pending until they accept. After acceptance, their role applies immediately.

Mobile (iOS/Android) steps

  1. Open the app → Profile → Team.
  2. Tap Invite teammate, enter email, choose a role, and send.
  3. Check status under Team; tap a user to adjust role or suspend access.

Monitoring activity

  • Audit log: Settings → Audit log shows sign-ins, config changes, exports, deletions.
  • Filters: by user, action, IP, date.
  • Export: Download CSV for compliance reviews.

Limitations & notes

  • You cannot remove the last Admin. Assign a new Admin first.
  • Some features (e.g., Billing) may be restricted to Admins only.
  • License limits may cap active users.
  • If SSO is enforced, password login is disabled for organization users.

Troubleshooting

  • No invite email received: Check spam; click Resend invite. If using SSO, ensure the domain is allowed.
  • “Permission denied” message: Confirm the user’s role includes the needed feature (e.g., “Exports: write”).
  • Can’t change role: Only Admins can edit roles. Ask an Admin or the Account owner.
