How do I transfer MyOperator account ownership (change the Super Admin) or change the Owner’s mobile number?

Only the current Owner can make these changes. Go to Manage → Users and click Transfer Role. Choose:
• Transfer Owner to hand ownership to an existing user, or
• Edit Number to update the Owner’s registered mobile (OTP required). Confirm the action; both parties receive an email and an in-app notification once the update is complete.

You need to give billing control to another teammate.

1. Prerequisites
Requirement
Why it matters
You are signed in as the current Owner.
Only Owners see the Transfer Role button.
The new Owner already has a User seat.
You can’t promote a non-user. Add a user first.
No outstanding invoices.
Transfers are blocked until the account is in good standing.
Supported roles: Owner → Admin/User.
You cannot demote an Owner directly to “Viewer.”

2. Transfer ownership
Go to Manage -> Users
Click Transfer Role → Transfer Owner. (Available for Owner only)
Select the new Owner from the dropdown list.
Click Update.
Verify via the confirmation mode and choose Yes, transfer.
Both parties receive an email & in-app notification confirming the change.

3. Update Owner phone number
Go to Manage -> Users.
Click Transfer Role → Edit Number.
Enter the new 10-digit mobile number and click Send OTP.
Answer the verification call and note the 4-digit OTP.
Enter the OTP and click Confirm.
Your dashboard reloads, and the new number appears under Owner details.

*The owner’s number cannot be changed from the edit option.
4. What if the Super Admin has left the organisation or cannot log in?
If the current Super Admin is no longer available, you can request an ownership reset through Support:
1. Submit an official letterhead request
• Draft the request on your company letterhead.
• Send it from an email address that matches your registered corporate domain.
2. Complete the verification process
• Support will try to contact the former Super Admin to confirm the transfer.
• If unreachable, we will run a Re-KYC check using your company documents and proof of domain ownership.
• Note: Company documents must be unaltered—no edits, redactions, or annotations are allowed.
3. Gain access
Once verification is successful, Support will restore the account and assign the designated user as the new Super Admin.
