How to create a “Duplicate List”?
Short answer: Use Remarketing → My Lists, choose the list’s More actions (⋯), and click Duplicate. Rename it and adjust filters if needed, then Save.

What duplication does
Duplicating a list creates a new list with the same configuration (filters, segments, and naming base). It’s ideal for quickly spinning up a similar audience with minor tweaks—without editing the original.
Prerequisites
- You can access Remarketing → My Lists.
- Your role has edit permissions for the list you want to duplicate.
- The list is not locked or shared read‑only.
Duplicate a list (step‑by‑step)
- Open Remarketing → My Lists.
- Locate the target list and click More actions (⋯).
- Select Duplicate.
- In the pop‑up, set List name and adjust filters/segmentation rules (optional).
- Click Save List.
What gets copied vs not copied
Copied
- Filter criteria and segmentation rules (e.g., department, call outcome, recency window)
- Naming base (you can rename in the dialog)
Not copied
- The current subscriber snapshot. The new list is generated by its filters when you open or use it.
- Sync settings to external platforms; configure those separately if needed.
Tip: If your original list uses a relative date filter (e.g., Last 7 days), the duplicate will evaluate over the current period when saved.
Best practices
- Rename clearly: Add a purpose or date suffix (e.g., Missed Sales – 14 Days).
- Review filters: Confirm department, call status, and date range match your intent.
- Mind privacy: Duplicates respect opt‑outs; don’t re‑enable contacts excluded by compliance.
- Keep it tidy: Archive or delete lists you no longer use to reduce clutter.
Verify and test
- Confirm the new list appears in My Lists with the expected name.
- Open it and check the filter summary matches your chosen criteria.
- Compare the count with the source list (they may differ based on date filters and recency).
Success criteria: The duplicate list exists, reflects the intended filters, and shows a reasonable subscriber count.
Troubleshooting
- Duplicate option missing: You may have read‑only access, or the list is locked/shared. Ask an admin for edit rights.
- Can’t save the duplicate: Ensure the name is unique and you have permission to create lists.
- Subscriber count unexpected: Check date filters, department selection, and that numbers are in E.164 format for accurate inclusion.
- Performance delays: Very large lists can take longer to compute on first open.
