Where should I upload sound to be played while user is on hold?

You can upload a custom audio file to play as hold music during calls routed through your MyOperator call flow. Here’s how to do it:


Before You Begin

  • File format: .mp3 or .wav only
  • Max file size: 5 MB
  • You must have Admin access to edit call flows

Steps to Upload Hold Music

  1. Log in to your MyOperator panel.
  2. In the left sidebar, go to Call > Design Callflow.
  3. Click Advanced Settings.
  4. Find the call flow where you want to add hold music, then click Edit.
  5. Scroll to the Music on Hold section and enable the toggle.
  6. Click Upload File and select your .mp3 or .wav audio file.
  7. Preview the file to confirm it's correct.
  8. Click Save to apply the changes.

After Setup

  • Your uploaded music will now play for callers placed on hold within this call flow.
  • You can return to the same screen to change or remove the file at any time.

Troubleshooting

  • Upload not working? Ensure the file is under 5 MB and in .mp3 or .wav format.
  • Music not playing? Double-check that the toggle is enabled and the call flow is active.
