Each WhatsApp campaign goes through one of the following status states. Use this guide to understand what each status means and how to interpret it.

Scheduled | Campaign is queued to be sent at a future time. | You can cancel this campaign up to 5 minutes before the scheduled time. | You scheduled a festive promo to go out tomorrow at 10 AM. |
In Progress | Messages are currently being sent. | The campaign is locked for editing. Cancellation is no longer possible. | Your campaign began sending to 5,000 contacts; delivery is ongoing. |
Completed | At least one message was successfully sent. | Some messages may have failedâthis does not mean 100% delivery. | 4,500 out of 5,000 contacts received the message. |
Failed | No messages were sent due to an error. | Could be caused by 0 valid recipients, expired template, or insufficient credits. | Your uploaded list had invalid numbers, so the campaign failed. |
Cancelled | Campaign was manually cancelled before it was executed. | Only possible if done â„ 5 minutes before scheduled time. | You canceled a flash sale promo due to inventory issues. |
Draft | Campaign is saved but has not been scheduled or launched yet. | Safe to edit or delete. Will not send unless manually triggered. | Youâre still choosing a template and uploading contacts. |
